A new beginning as i've ended my 5 year relationship with BC. I'm sad that a 5 year relationship did not turn out as expected, but glad that i've finally made a decision about it. Like Sis say, be it good or bad, no one can comment except the both of us. I'm actually glad and relieved about making a decision, a decision i should have made long ago (not necessary the same ending as today). Due to procrastination, comfort and many factors, we slowly slip out of each other's lives. I acknowledge the truth in Shawna's statement. "Its ok to have different interests, but its the other quality time spent together that matters". The other quality time did not happen to us, at least that's what i feel. We drifted.
Hence, with my logical state of mind, i told myself that it really did not matter if he changed, cos if he did, he's not him. And him changing is not the solution. It could be due to personality incompatible or wrong time, wrong place. Whatever.
I know he's very upset, as he never expected this. But i think this is the best way. We had our own perspective of each other, something that slowly got us irritated in a way or another. It's not healthy.
I've made up my mind. I need to move on. I need a break.
I'll survive the singlehood and try to save as much tears.

星光帮 is a taiwan singing competition that showcase the new generation's hunger for fame and a display of their talent. This is definitely much better than our local version as their's are a better batch of talent and of cos, taiwan being a chinese pop market and with all the well known producers and composers, it makes the show much more interesting.
Anyway, 蕭敬騰 wasnt one of the contestant in the show but a challenger who got really famous due to his unique voice and style.

2nd chance
today is only day two and less than 12hours later, he sms me.
He read my blog and is seeking for a 2nd chance.
i received the sms in the morning. Till now, i've not replied.
The question now is, if he change for the 'better', will it work? or it isn't a matter of changing?

Cooling period
I've finally said it out.
Its' cooling period time with no contact i.e no sms, no calls, nothing.
I need a cooling period with absolutely no contact. I've never, NEVER, believe in it. Cos i don't like to be stranded there in a relationship. But it seems that at this point of time, i need that.
A simple act of throwing trash can lead to a series of sms that pours out some unheard voices.
I'm sick of people telling me things that seems to target at my busy schedule and not spending adequate time with my relationship
When im in my logical state, i start to get angry. Angry at the fact that things have not changed though mentioned. Angry at the fact that he knows and choose not do anything.
I've always believe that in a bid to earn a date, what does one do? Fight for a free time. Precisely. Rather than wait. In my most common, bo chup pattern, i would say "wait lor. TKK"
Hence, now is the time. To think and conclude.

Mummy can be a headache at times
Came back after fling on Thursday and ask mum for help to replicate a dance pants.
The conversation goes likke this
"Mum, how do a replicate this pants?"
"Just put down on the cloth and replicate lah"

Sorting stage of life
Im in this phase of my life where im sorting out the following
1. My needs and wants
It's important to know. In a case of uncertainty, if you are not even able to explain what you want or need, how could a third party make a decision for you?
2. My job
Due to the recent job offer, it open my doors to other opportunities. But open my eyes to the way things are handled in my organisation. At times i wonder, could it be due to the colleagues that im hanging out with (in this case, happens to be the 2 bosses of my department) that expose me to the uglier side of management? I'm waiting to see a good 'show' and better start to plan my next move.

Huixian's birthday preparation...and her unique present
Well well, after numeral rounds of 'interrogation' on what she would like to have for her birthday, we finally finalised on a book voucher...hehe
But we are meeting on 11Jan and she told us only on 10Jan....argh! where to find the time to buy her voucher?
In the end, me being the 'full of ideas' woman, decided to get her an Oscar (the grouchy green creature in the trash can in Sesame Street) to signify her being grouchy plus a self made voucher for her to claim her book voucher from us...hehe
I was warned that Oscar will prove to be a tough find, being the more unique character and indeed, it took me almost 3 to 4 stores before i manage to find one.
But this Oscar prove to be more cute than Grouchy.....
Then i went to Ikea to get Oscar a frame. Then went over to Anchorpoint, hoping to find other accessories to go with Oscar. Decided to get her Sweets and Choco. I remember her mentioning that she like both. And i hope that by giving her the 2 things she like, will brighten her day when she's grouchy. hehe
So in the end, i got her additional 2 badges that i thought will remind me of her and a box of laugh.
Took me about an hour to finish the assemble and here goes, the final product
Nice leh. Hope you like my little gift......hehe....

My new toy! Ipod Touch
Just upgraded my Broadband account and it came with a Ipod Touch. Needless to say, yes, i've upgraded my plan due to this free gift and for an additional incurred expenses of 5 bucks per month.

Well, receive a call from MP and KS today while im on leave and my intuition tells me that there will be some fire going on.
True enough, what happens is that my job offer was made a big hoo hah now. Why? Cos now that GM is back from home leave, he is not pleased about my offer as it was bypassed him and done directly with me.
So he called the Regional IT director and 'confronted' him. That no ball man number 2 claim that he did not know that Derick will approach me. He only ask Derick to identify who is suitable. So now, i've not only gotten Derick into trouble, but i expect some bomb when im back from my leave next Monday. To me, no ball man number 2 is full of nonsense. Logical thinking will tell you that Derick, no ball man number 2's subordinate will never approach me if it wasnt Steve who ask him to. How old do they think i am? My goodness. Lame
This is another whole round of bullshitting.
Previously, when they are poaching me from my ex-boss (Reporting department) to Operations, they were uglier. Now that it is a regional offer, they make a hoo hah. To me, its the same.....
I told MP and KS straight that they are repeating the same thing that they did to me 2 years ago. Not done in a professional way. Just that in this new episode, i make things more transparent now and indirectly, make them do it a more proper way.
Then, MP and KS ask our GM, no ball man number 1 what is my future in SIN. He replied that i should move on next to be like my supervisor or KS i.e Assistant Ops Mgr role. My goodness, he must be crazy. In the first place, i do not see him doing anything for them. Just more work, more responsibility, a bigger title and no self improvements for them. Maybe that's the way things work but, i think he's being very surface.
For all you know, he might have to save his own rice bowl first. Bosses....aiyo

Jeffrey's wedding 22Dec07
This is the first time where i'm involved as a Xiong Di. A bit scary considering the fact that its always the xiong di that gets all the 'work' in order for the groom to get his wife....retribution for me? ahhah....but i would think that it will be fun if in future, i will go get my hubby....hmm...will think about it when its my turn....
Anyway, it was quite fun to receive the bride.....there are 6 brothers, 3 gals and 3 guys and of cos the groom. We had 3 tests. 1st was to paste the words "jeff luv shir" each on one's buttocks and dance to the song unbrella...hehe....i managed to siam.....phew. 2nd was of cos the sour sweet bitter spicy drinks. 3rd was one that i tot the most disgusting one. hehe. They played with wasabi. We had to get one brother and put wasabi across the top of his lips and of cos, someone have to lick that off. Haha....and of cos, we got one of the guy brother and the groom to complete the "wonderful" task!!! YEee....disgusting!....
Afterwhich it was receiving of the bride, tea ceremony and photo taking.
We each left and had to prepare for the dinner that night. I am tasked with the receptionist job. So not much to prepare in fact. But the most troublesome question come. What am i supposed to wear and how should i make my hair. Going to my hair salon is too rush and hence, mum and i had our experiment done on my hair. and the final product looks like this.....viola
Anyway, dinner was nice and Jeff was asked to sing on stage with the live band, Shirley's favourite song, Ai Hen Jian Dan. David Tao's song. Although the singing was not that fantastic, the ambience was nice. I would have teared if it was me......
The night ended young and i did not proceed with the Nao Dong Fang as they wana get the groom drunk. Not a wise move to join the crowd as im afraid that they will get me drink a lot.....
All in all, im always happy to be part of any wedding. Be it as a emcee or brother, sister or just an attendee, i'll always give the couple my most sincere wishes. All the best for their union....
