updates on the migration

3 weeks have passed since migration and my working hours are more normal. In the sense that im not clocking 16hours but 12hours (it's really rather normal). I guess we are more or less familiarised with the bad system and yes, i've survived.

I've seen myself working more productively or efficiently. As usual, i've offered help to the needy at work, took time to set up manuals to give consultants an idea how documents are to be generated from the system etc. I guess, from the many help that i've offered to fix things up or provided solutions to work around the problem, everyone is not as lost.

We are promised skies when the AU team introduced this new change, however, from the way i've seen it, they have simply added more checks and procedures to the way the system receive the data and simply added MASSIVE workload to the consultants. Hence in this new workflow, it prevents a lot of rubbish into the system and overall, when all are in place, yes, it takes lesser time from the time of reservation to generate an invoice. However, LOTS are NOT in place. Sigh....yet the team that handles this migration states that we are the only country that recovered the fastest....toking about claiming credit...pengz..

The thought of moving on is there, but with the support i get from my superior and KS, i felt i have to help them out at least for the time being. And GM has told me they are gonna do something to my pay.

We'll see.....
