That day, MP told me that they wants to cut staff if sales are bad these two months. Why? cos based on the productivity report, we are overstaff, under produce. Sales are short of 2 million. But seriously speaking, its not our fault. IN this travel line when the clients decide if they need to travel, we are at a passive situation.
Anyway, MP decides that if they will cut staff, first to target will be my team. And 3 names to be given.
Huh! my first reaction
What the Hxxx! Why? i understand why if i think of it top down but i felt set up. Im not given a situation where i still have to take more workload, but cut 3 staff. Why my team? cos they cannot afford to lose consultants. When biz picks up, then leaving the consultants untouched is a wiser option.
I hate the way they do this
Anyway, it just becomes very scary to me. Why? cos i can make "recommendations" who to keep and kick. The question comes as to "Should i keep people who can work but a bit attitude" or "Should i keep people who will obey me?" In both cases, when im shorthanded, always wise to keep the former to survive. That's where BW will get to stay.
But im sad at the three weakest link. They have improved but not the strongest.
I dun really enjoy doing this decision.
Anyway, since the thought was mentioned to me, till now, there's no news. So, lets just wait and see.....
