Im at a T junction where i've decided either to take the offer, or leave for better sky. Might not be a better sky but a better ground for me to be exposed and learn more.
Have spoken to a couple of people about the job offer and im glad my sis have given some insight to this offer.
She post these questions to me
1. How do you feel about the job?
2. Is this something you want to do?
3. Where will you be based?
4. What's the reporting line? Do you report to a regional manager or just the local manager?
5. Pay structure?
6. Is this aligned to what you want to do?
7. Is this company still ok to stay in?
8. Are you looking for new exposures, new industries?
9. How portable are your skills if you move to another company or industry?
10. Is the management supportive in theefforts to bring a consistent level of service?
All the above seems to just summarised the important things that i should consider. Short and sharp.
Thinking of the above, it seems that the new job scope that they are offering seems more precise and challenging.
I've spoken to MP about receiving my jobscope and the first thing she say, "i tell you its gonna be a deep shit that you need to get. There's only 3 ppl and blarblarblar"
My first thoughts, have she ever wondered what she have given me throughout the 2 years in operations? I feel that I got myself exposed to more things, get myself more involved. She once said, "Gary is not a good team leader and that to need training to lead as like 'nonsense'" but my thoughts were, "you choose Gary to be a team leader. If he DO NOT excel or if you DO NOT aid him, you are no better. Just shows how good your choice is." Soo ironic her words.
Think she has grown stagnant. She needs to move on as well. Or is she getting too comfy with us that she say such things? I always feel that to certain extent, a leader should not show her follows her weak thoughts. Not a good image.
Anyway, if her saying like that, makes me even certain that i need to move on. Either take up the offer or leave. Regardless if the sky over the other end is brighter or not. She's not offering me anything better though. Job wise.
